Gods Way

 I thought I'd share how God works in my ministry.  This goes back a number of years, I had a table set up at the "Spring Fling" in Fair Haven, Vermont.  I had different tracts for all ages and many Gospel of Johns to give away.

what I would do as people pass by is say "May I give you something to think about" Most time they would say yes or ask me what it was about and I was honest I told them it's about how to have eternal life in Christ Jesus.  I would either have a conversation with them or if they needed to go I'd give them a gospel of John with tract and my contact info tucked into them.

This method worked everywhere on the streets at colleges everywhere I went.  On that day I met another believer who asked a good question of me How was I going to reach the troop of scouts set up behind me My usual tactic won't work on an 8-year-old boy.  I thought for a while and said I don't know.  Just then the wind picked up and blew all my tracts on the ground behind me.  The scouts saw a man in need so they rushed to help pick them up I said thank you and I made sure they each got a tract.  The man I was talking to said "So God just sends a big wind and you reach those kids.  Yes sir! was all that I could say

Stop Doubting!

 She was older than me, maybe late 40s or early 50s.  She was a very nice lady had a great marriage and became a grandma.  Saved for some time yet she doubted her salvation.  I wondered why I'm not saying I've never doubted I'm not perfect. However, she really had a hard time believing she was truly saved.  She's just another casualty in gospel disinformation.  She believed in the Lordship salvation which teaches that the gospel is free but you have to prove you truly had faith or believed by doing good works. It's like this you believed in the free gift of salvation that Jesus died for our sin arose on the third day and believe the free gift he offered of forgiveness but  you need to prove you actually believed by doing good works.  so there is know way of knowing how much good works is enough, she doubts.  So, do many of this false gospel. Can I Give You Something to Think About if You're a Little Older?

Yeah, I'm old too. I didn't live the best of lives. Now I wonder if my good deeds outreach the bad things. I sure hope so. I want to go to Heaven  you ever think like that? What does God say?   "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
