Stop Doubting!

 She was older than me, maybe late 40s or early 50s.  She was a very nice lady had a great marriage and became a grandma.  Saved for some time yet she doubted her salvation.  I wondered why I'm not saying I've never doubted I'm not perfect. However, she really had a hard time believing she was truly saved.  She's just another casualty in gospel disinformation.  She believed in the Lordship salvation which teaches that the gospel is free but you have to prove you truly had faith or believed by doing good works. It's like this you believed in the free gift of salvation that Jesus died for our sin arose on the third day and believe the free gift he offered of forgiveness but you need to prove you actually believed by doing good works.  so there is know way of knowing how much good works is enough, she doubts.  So, do many of this false gospel.

"8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast."

What does it say? not of works! you don't have to prove anything. All one has to do is believe!

The Philippian Jailer Saved

25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 

You see, you who believe you don't have to have works; there is just simply belief. Stop doubting and believe. Finally, I give you this scripture.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
